New CBR600F5 owner and new to forum..

Hi
Just like to introduce myself (blakey) as new to this forum and a new CBR 600 F 5 owner.
I have been away from the bike seen for a couple of years, last bike being a ZX 636 and decided to go for the F5 for a more pratical bike for the wife to jump on the back.

I do have a couple of questions which maybe should be posted in the other areas but ill mention them anyway

My model the F5, I can't seem to find to much history information on these bikes, ie spec bhp etc and the forum dosen't seem to have a section for the F5. Or am i not looking in the right section.

I also am thinking of a couple of small mods to the bike such as a double bubble screen, tail tidy, exhaust and hugger. Any recomendations for these and pics, especially for the tail tidy as there seems to be quite a few options, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Blakey :)

Welcome to CBRF Blakey!! Congrats on the new bike too. I think the F5 is simply a CBR 600RR from '03-'04. I never heard it referred to as that though.

Post any questions you may have in the 600RR forums. There's a ton of knowledgable and friendly guys and gals in there to help you with just about anything. Oh, and don't forget to post up some pics in here of your new addiction.

Take care and enjoy the forums.

Hi & welcome to the site Blakey!
Like eweppley said, there is no such thing as a an F5 so I think that your bike is a first gen 600RR.
Have fun & enjoy your stay :)

yea, alot of people get confused with it because it was after hte f4... definately is the 03-05 600rr

hey there Blakey and welcome to CBRF!! :-)

The 600s went F1, F2, F3, F4, F4i and the rarer FS sport model, then onto the RRs

If you post pics we can tell you exactly what you have,
have fun and enjoy the forums,
and take lots of care of course :-)
