Hello,

I've been a member here for a little while but forgot to post to say hi to everyone. I bought a 1000f from a guy at work and it was kinda beat so I did some reaserch on this site and got busy. I had an 86 600 and loved it so when this deal came up I jumped on it. My bike is a 1990 and the plastic was almost all missing. After searching for a bit I couldn't find anything so I bought a set from a 93. I retrofitted it to my bike and it is now almost ready to ride. Here are some before and after pics.

Very nice! I'm new here too, just bought a 900 for my first bike. You did a great job on that bike, I'm sure you can't wait to get it out on the road!!

Welcome to the CBRF!!! Gear up and Ride Safe....

You maybe want to find your way down to the Hurricane Section, watch out though it gets addicting...

stretch_the_apex - I live in Janesville.Az1kF - Yeah, the blue seat is what came with the bike but I plan on dying it black when I get the chance. Thanks for all the great comments! I do have a bunch of 90-91 parts left over from the swap if you know of anyone looking. Mostly body parts and things of that nature. I see I can't post anything for sale yet until I get to a senoir member.

It may be better to just buy a used black seat on fleabay and then try and sell your blue one. Or get a new cover. I'm not sure how dying it would work... or if it would even be worth it.
Stock seats usually go pretty cheap.
Just a thought.
