Default New CBR owner and rider

Hi, everyone. I recently bought a 2009 CBR600RR with ABS, and I'm slowly learning the basics of motorcycle riding. Glad to be part of such a knowledgeable group. I'll see ya outt here on the road.

Welcome! Very nice bike you picked up, be sure to post up some pics when you get a chance. If you haven't already you should definitely look into taking an MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) course. They will teach you a ton of useful info and riding techniques to help you become a better rider. Finally, gear up! Helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, pants, etc will all help make your life more enjoyable if you happen to have an unfortunate get off and things get personal with Mr. Asphalt

Have fun and stay safe out there

Hello Jack, one would have to assume that it's a nice looking bike, since there's no pics ...congratulations.

Welcome aboard! Have you taken the MSF Course? If not, I highly recommend it.

Welcome! And can't wait to see pics. I'm a first time rider as well. Kinda wish I had ballsed up and got something newer as well, but was scared what would happen as I had never rode before and especially it being a sport bike! Have fun and stay safe!
