Hey fellow CBR riders! wazzup? My Name is Ed and i just bought a 2001 CBR929RR Erion Racing Edition this past december. I previously owned a 1997 CBR600 that i bought new but ditched it because i was only 25 back then and i was riding it like a complete tool. wheelies and high speed passes everytime i went for a ride. my best 1/4 time was 11.70 @ 118mph. i also ride motox and that is my #1 passion. i currently own a 1999 YZ250 and love the sound of 2 strokes. i'll be in the market for a new YZ250 in the next year before they stop making them
now that i'm older and the price of gas is so frickin ridiculous i decided it was time for another CBR. especially since my daily driver is an 07 RAM truck that sucks on gas. my brother is who got me into CBR's and he has an 07 Repsol 1000RR and his 97 CBR600 smokin joe color scheme. his bro n law has a newer CBR600RR and one of my friends who bought a 98 CBR600 when i got mine.. he still has it.. i'm going to pass this forum on to them and see if they sign up! heck even a guy my work got a 2006 CBR600 after seeing mine!

as long as i'm here... does anyone know how to shrink regular sized photos down to avatar size??

this is what i do... i have an account on photobucket.com.
all i do is upload the pic i want to post. after it's uploaded it gives me 4 options under the pic
email & IM

the only 2 codes i ever use are "direct link".. which i use to post here and the "HTML code" which is how you can send it on myspace in comments and messages.

to post on here

just click the image button on the tool bar above this message box

then copy the "direct link" from the photobucket pic you want... and put it in between the two "boxes" that say "image"

[IMG] post link in here [/IMG] <<<<--- when you click that "image" button they are put together very close. you have to click your mouse cursor right smack dab in between the "boxes"

nice pic. hello from elkhart IN, new member. I bought a 2001 929 erion last year. Man this thing is fast. I was searching top speeds and found a couple speeds posted of 140-167. my bike has had some work done, as well as a power comander3 it has a digital speedo. and i was showing 181. NO JOKE. some one had said that the speedo might be off by 10% over 100??? My jouney took me from 159 to176 to 180 and then my fourth attempt at 181... I had to hold @ WOT for a longtime to get that one extra mile to (181). anyone have any info of mods to check for on the bike that would allow me to really go that fast. or is the speedo inccorect? the speed builds at a appropriaye rate.
