Default New CBR 6cylinder Socal

Hi- everybody- I'm Paul
I have been riding and racing motorcycles since 1974. Worked for Suzuki and Kawasaki late seventies early eighties. Need to count the amount of cycles I have had.
I now have a 06 Sv 650 as a rider.
My project now is 1980 CBX bought off ebay. I have chopped the rear subframe off.(twin shocks).
Installed 06 cbr600rr forks- rim -brakes -clipons. Have a 06 CBr600 f4i top cowling and gauges (???) Am using the 06 600rr tank cover -side panels and rear cowling. I have but, not yet mounted the rear subframe with the Stock 600rr muffler. I will take the kerker 6 into one, cut the tail piece off (throw away)and fabricate this to fit the 600rr muffler.
I have purchased some rear sets for a 600rr (gold anodized) from thailand.
I have purchased a Honda Hawk 650 single sided swing arm/ wheel, with shock that i will install. as soon as it arrives.
Presently rebuilding and polishing the carbs (bling bling). Also the engine had bad compression, so will pull the head check the valves replace seals and gaskets, clean up the ports and check /replace rings. Engine had about 13600 miles on it.
I imported a picture of a cbx (side view) and then one of a 600rr and then worked a little magic in Corel Paint and came up with a picture of what I am trying to create. (minus the cbr600rr swing arm in photo)
The reason why I joined this site is to get feed back and knowledge of the 600 f4i instruments electronics, instead of trying to re-invent the wheel. I will post some technical questions later as to the wiring /pickup points / sensors for these devices.
If there is interest I will also add photos of work in progress.

Paul
