Yeah: Don't

Hong Kong fairings are hit or miss, with far more wiffles than bullseyes. They are not OEM, made from molds of OEM plastics. Often poorly so the mount points just don't line up right. And when they miss, you tend to be in for tons of improv just getting them to stick securely to your bike. With every gap, no matter how small, mocking you.

Other issues that tend to to come up are:
  • Looks like a steal until you add in shipping
  • Little to no customer support
  • Because of the long shipping time, disputes through Ebay / Paypal are impossible to win

The last one is a biggie. With some the shipping time conveniently takes longer than the dispute window according to Ebay / Paypal policy. So when the wrong / poorly painted / or broken fairings arrive on your doorstep, you cannot get your money back. If you're going to go aftermarket fairings, go with a US company and USE A CREDIT CARD.

No matter what happens, Mastercard / Visa / American Express will attempt to protect you. But the best bet is to get OEM
