New Canadian rider
Hello everyone new to the site and riding!! I am a 21 yr old male and last night I just purchased my first bike!! It's a 2001 cbr600 f4i stunt bike. She is in pretty rough shape right now no idea on the kms... It needs all new plastic, tires, fast tank was beat in to stand on, new leavers and leaver mounts, needs the wiring gone through, I am going to set-up the brakes and clutch, might drop it of at my mechanics for a tune-up but the bike runs AMAZING!! Also needs new seats and the sub frame repaired or replaced!!! HOPE TO GET TO KNOW THE COMMUNITY!!!!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Kyle,
Sounds like you have a fair job ahead of you. When you can post some pics of your bike. And you may want to create a rebuild thread for your bike, so we can follow (and cheer on) your rebuild efforts.
Are you going to keep it as a stunter?
Cheers, SB

Welcome to the community.
Stick around for a bit and meet the troops. We have a pretty friendly membership, so don't be shy.
Since it was stunted, don't forget to look closely at the forks. Stunting really puts a strain on the tubes, seals, bushings, and springs. Good forks with the correct springs for your weight make a huge difference when set up correctly.

If you're not going to stunt it, replace that sprocket. Something closer to stock will make it more streetable. I'd take those plastics off and see if there is any more damage hiding. Make a complete evaluation of your project so that you know what you're getting into before purchasing parts.
Sprocket needs replaced anyway its pretty badly hooked. What is the factory tooth ratio? Deff going to be buying aftermarket fairings... Called on a set of factories and its Aprox 3000/side where as aftermarkets are 500 for the kit
