your a good driver? or did you mean rider?

i think he may have meant if you have to use to speed to save yourself...such as your stopped at a red light and you see the car behind you not stopping and you have to haul *** to move out the way....with a 600 you will be ok for the most part, a 1k you may flip right over and its good night...but im just speculating lol

HUGE HUGE difference between riding and driving. If the 1000RR is you're first bike i honestly hope you have immaculate throttle control. I'm not saying it to be an *** id just hate to see anyone crash and/or die because of something stupid.

Theres about a 200% difference on flooring it on a 600 and flooring it on a 1000, i rode around on an 07 aprilia and lets just say flooring it even in 3rd will cause a nice wheelie or headshake and buh bye, the 1000RR makes even more power then that.

Its all about how stupid the person that is riding the bike and how much throttle they give it in a certain situation, I have very good balance since I have been riding bicycles since I can remember. The bike is real fast but in 2nd gear I can manage to keep the front wheel on the ground, probably because I weight 225lbs, there arnt very many places too really get on it past 2nd gear around here, I going to have to take it to the 1/4 mile track try to get some practice on launching it and ripping threw gears. I get pretty close to the ground when leaning into corners, there is still about 3/4th of an inch of unscuffed rubber on the outside edges, which I think is pretty normal, I cant get too low around here because of the bumps and sand and crazy drivers and what not.
