Default New biker in southern california

Hello,
I just purchased my first bike ever, 2002 f4i. Can anyone recommend a place to have new tires installed in the orange county area? Also, possibly give some suggestions on the type of tires I should get and roughly how much $$$ it's gonna run me.

Hello and welcome... tires can be expensive to have mounted. I've found prices anywhere from 30 to 60 just to mount one tire. I'm in Virginia so I'm not much help, but I just got a hook up at a shop. They will mount them for $10 each. So... find someone that has a buddy that works in a shop.

As far as what tires... lots of opinions here. I like the stock Dunlop 208 that came on my 05 RR, but I'm switching over to Qualifiers. Most love the Pilot Powers and I have a friend that has them. He loves them... they warm up instantly and grip really well. He has about 1000 miles on his gixxer 750 and they are wearing well. I know right now, RonAyers.com is having a sale on Diablo Strada Rear 160, 170, 180 or 190. Buy the rear and they'll send the front 120 for free ($25 shipping) ... there is a link of their web page to fill out a form and send to Pirelli. If you have the time to wait... this will be a good deal. You'd walk away paying about 150ish for a complete set.
