Default New to the bike game

Hello All,
I am new to the sports bike and am a first time rider. I own a 1998 CBR 600F3, and I am loving it. I live in Delaware and looking to find some people to ride with and any advice that can be given. Thanks again for the welcome.

Welcome to the forum Jay!

Nothing wrong w/ being new. Just be sure to RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE & be a responsible rider. Have you taken the MSF course? Motorcycle Safety Foundation I highly recommend the course for every new rider (so called 'experienced' as well).

Post up in the regional section for riders in your area. Hopefully, you'll find a rider or two.

Welcome to the forum...and riding!

Now you know what you've been missing, wind. Riding motorcycles will change your life, for the better. Ask all the questions you want around here, we have answers. But remember, if your looking for advice you will get opinions, some you may agree with and some you wont. Take them for what you spent on them and do what you think is best.

For riders near you, look regional section or here CBRForum

Yo! Replied in the regional section but figured i'd find your intro thread too. I'm in DE too, maybe we can get a ride in sometime. My bike isn't tagged or insured yet and is still at the mechanic, but once I get her road ready I can let you know. If you haven't checked the regional yet, what part of DE/how old are you? I'm 21 and in Bear/Newark area.

I am a litter older, late thirties, but love sports bikes. I live in the Newark area. Once you are ready, we can definitely get a ride in.

I have taken the MSF course, and it was very helpful. I have a rule, I never ride any one else's bike, my motto is, if you drop it you bought it. Once again everything is welcome, be it advice or opinion.

Aight cool, ill let you know. I'm not a crazy rider either, so don't have to worry about that riding with me, i've had my share of incidents already and been out of a bike all year so far, so I'm just excited to be back on the road soon..

Do you know of any backroads like up in MD/PA? My ride pretty much consists of Rt 9 > 13 > some back road > 896 > some back road > 213 > some back road > 896, it's about a decent 2 hour ride which circles back to home.. not bad for delaware if you ask me lmao.

Oh and let's see some pics!
