Hello all!! I have been lurking forever and thought I'd say hello. I'm new to bikes, did my MSF last month and feel I need a bike before I forget what I learned. Ive heard time and time again the don't start on 600 arguments and I feel an F2 would be a good start for me. Also I wanted toask what are some things to look for when inspecting an F2. Thank you guys in advance.

TCB...the MSF is crucial and you have a great start. You can go round and round as far as starting on a 600cc motorcycle, but I think the most important thing is your frame of mind. I started on a 600, and can say it worked for me. Keep your head, bro, and welcome to your new addiction! Glad to have you here...good luck on a "new to you" bike...used is the way to go.

Hello and welcome. Good to hear you took the MSF. I went from an older Yamaha 750 (more of a cruiser) strait to my 600... with the exception of like an hour ride on my buddies 2006 GSX-R 600. It took a little getting used to, but it has worked for me.

Thanks guys, I checked the bike over with a friend who rides and it seemed in great condition for a 93'. So I am gonna go for it, and if any of the horror stories of dropping it happens at least I can say I didn't break the bank buying it.
