Hey guys, ive been looking on this forum for about a month and finally registered. i recently purchased an 01 f4i here in Phoenix. Been a blast to ride. Still fixing it up. Had a really bad rear, fluids changed, new chain and sprocket, adjusted it so it wasnt lowered, and now the CCT is annoying me. But hopefully ill get some feed back

You may want to check the F4i section on the CCT or ask about it in the F4i section. You will get a better response in there.

 

Congrats on your new-to-you split-seat F4i...great bike. Sounds like your bike found a good owner who wants to keep it maintained properly. ;-) The CCT isn't difficult to replace on your own - either oem or manual. There are tutorials & write-ups on both installations here on the forum, if you want to do it yourself.

Hey I'm currently in the market for an 01-03 f4i just curious what you paid for yours. Sounds like it needed a little work so I assume you got it at a good price. BTW I'm in gilbert

I paid 3100 for mine, it has rash on one side and need a new rear tire. And a few other stuff that it needed. It had only 8500 miles on it, so it was brand new with cosmetic damage really. But hit me up when you get it.

 

Wow that's a great deal! I'll have to keep my eyes open for such a deal! I'll definitely let you know when I get one
