Default New 929 from SC

Hi. My name is Will and i'm from South Carolina, USA. Just picked up my first sport bike. A CBR929RR that i traded for a truck. Only had about $1800 in the truck, so i think i did ok. The bike has a 6" swing arm, soupy's adjustable link, two brothers carbon fiber exhaust, pcII, and a professionally built engine and trans. The bike shows 25k on the odometer with just over 5k being after the build.

Welcome to the forum Will.
Sounds like you have quite the machine there. I hear that SC has some great roads to ride, you will enjoy them on the bike. Ride safe out there...
Is this your first bike?

Welcome aboard Will!

Congrats on getting your 929. When you get a chance, post up pics of your new-to-you ride.

What's your previous riding experience?

How are you liking that extended swingarm? It would turn better if you went back to stock. Extended arms are for drag racing and show.

haven't had good enough weather to really try it out yet. only time i had on it was about 10-15 minutes when i was test driving it. if it bothers me too much, i have the stock swing arm that i'll stick back on.

Good lookin' bike. Interesting swingarm. Good that you have the stocker to swap back if you wish.

I said the same thing. I was told it was a custom made, but you never know. it looks good and, if it is custom, it's a very well made piece.
