This is my first street bike. I have been riding dirtbikes, ATVs and friends street bikes for 20+ years.

This opportunity presented itself and I jumped on it.

Why did you say the previous owner was a Kawasaki fan? due to the Monster paint scheme? Personally I like the way it looks. it is not professional by any means but I'm not bitching.

truthfully I would like to storm trooper that thing out and be nothing but satin black and white... Not a fan of chrome...

Riding on the street is different than riding dirt, but dirt experience is never a bad thing. Be safe and keep your head on a swivel. Everyone IS trying to kill you!

Green is usually a Kawi color. But it does look good with the Monster theme. I have the dist center down the street from me, so I see a lot of it around. I even play hockey against some of their employees on a Monster sponsored team.

I have been on street bikes a long time but never owned one myself.

Never the less... I will take your advice as people suck at driving and most all accidents I have ever seen or friends have had was due to a car being a moron, not the rider being a moron.

Welcome to the forum another Chi town member! Would love to pick up a CBR900RR at some point old school that can still move. Enjoy it.
