Default n00b

Hey all, im n00 to the board, just wanted to introduce myself..

I'm Chris, from NW Indiana, about 30 minutes from Chicago.. I'm a tech at a Honda motorcycle dealer, so I can prolly help out with some things.

I have a '98 CBR600F3 in red/black. It has a Hindle Full system, with a carbon can, jetted, dyno'd and tuned by 4&6 cycle, which is prolly the premier race shop in the chicagoland area. I also just rebuilt my forks, and added an F4I shock, -1 sprocket and 520 conversion. This will be my third season on it, and I'm saving to upgrade to a 954 or 1000RR. I'd like to keep the F3 for a track-ho, but will prolly sell it.

So, hello all, and see ya

btw, here's a pic of my ride..

it's a lockhart-phillips cover that's been discontinued.. The shiny part in the back got a crack in it, and I'm having a custom one done now.. similar, just without the graphics. Looks like a cowl

Actually, I took the old cover to a friend's mom who is an avid seamstress, and she's making a new one from the old pattern. I bought vinyl at a fabric shop out here. It's just going to be shiny black on the back half, and standard vinyl where I sit.

Whats up Chris, I'm Chris too! Bike looks great! Love the seat, maybe if you have a blueprint of that pattern you could send it my way? Where in IN are you, I spend some time in Fort Wayne and South Bend. Have two offices out there and another in Indy so I find my way to IN a few times a year.....[8D]

Yah, I can see if she would make one paper.. but I think the seat is quite different than the F4 seat.. since mine is F3.

I'm basically at I65 and RT30 in the Merriville area...
