okay guys so i bought a bike off craigs list. the guy wanted 900 for it but i gave him 800 for it. lol i know cash speaks words right lol, anyway this bike was stole and found again the guys took all the fairings off it. when the guy bought it it had 12000 and some change for miles on it now it has 21000 and change so i know it ran before lol i know i said before. now on the other hand it sat for a year with out any riding, he told me the stator was bad, needed a new front tire that was it. so now it will turn over but wont start. sounds like it need gas.

so i think the carbs are gummed up since it sat so long with out running also i did a key drop test on the battery and found out that the battery will not hold a charge lol. my questions are since the battery was bad do you all think the stator was bad too? how can i test the stator to find out if it really is bad? and do you think i got a deal or a mess lol? dont hold back im a big boy lol.

since i bought it i have bought a new o ring chain for it, battery, and front tire.
