My name is...
Spencer. I'm 20 years old live in NorCal and just got my first bike today(2001 f4i). dont really have to much riding experience, unless you count bicycles, but i have a friend who will be a great teacher. I'm very mechanically inclined, work as a bicycle mech., and view any vehicle as an ever changing project. Just wanted to check out rules for the forum and introduce myself. Hope to get to know some of you.

Yeah, looks like the bikes in great shape, man.
Welcome to the forum.
So you're into bmx, too, eh? I used to ride a lot. Some guy that lived next my friend in high school built a full track in the field behind his house. Fun stuff. I used to work in a bike shop, too. That's how I got the "money" to have the coolest redline on the block. The owner would trade me bikes and performance parts for work....

lol, right on. yeah, im into the freestyle street riding portion of it. definitely starting to slow down on it though. moving more into downhill mountainbiking and road biking. kinda funny that u used to work at a bike shop. my boss, who also happens to be my good friend, is a big auto geek. used to do track days all the time in his cars and on his ducati. has a family now so he's slowed down on the track, but he's gotten my into bimmers and motorcycles and has been able to teach me a lot about driving
Welcome aboard SPencer!
Glad to have you with us
Bike looks in pretty good shape...I see it has shorty levers (CRG,Pazzo et al.),aluminum side engine cover. Nice.
CHeck out the F4i forum if you have any questions on your new bike.
Have fun & ride safe
