My first CBR
Hi everyone,
I just bought this summer a 1998 CBR600 f3.
I totally love this bike! I'm into the sport since the middle of last summer so I'm a beginner. I drove 3000 miles in two months. I aware of my limits so I'm still driving safely.
Hope I'll be learning some tips and tricks on this forum.
Nice to meet you all

Well, I don't know anything about motorcycle mechanic. So I will probably only switching back the rear turn signal to OEM since integrated signals are "illegal" over here. Not enough space between them. But I'd really like to know what to do as maintenance when I'll bring it back on road next spring.

Maintenance is a good thing to get your hands dirty with. Not too tough, but very essential. There are hundreds of threads on how do do fluids and such, I'll leave it to you to search them out. Feel free to ask questions though, we are here to help you. Pay close attention to the best way to store your bike. The battery and carbs will not survive if not cared for. If you do it right, it will fire right up in the spring with no problems.
Lots of folks use the time to clean and paint things. You don't need to be a mechanic to make it look good!

I had the opportunity to try many motorcycles before buying the F3: harley 883, boulevard, shadow, cbr125, gs500, rebel, cb500. From all those, the Honda's were my favorite (beside the shadow). That's why I was more interested to get a Honda motorcyle.
Then, when I first saw the F3, the look of the bike was sooo damn sexy. Then when I first sat on the bike, I was so amazed how well I felt on it. Perfect for my body size.
I already fixed some little things on it. Broken mirror, dash bulbs.
Anyways, here it is
