Default My first bike - '96 CBR600F3

I just bought my first motorcycle, I didn't want to spend a ton being my first bike nor did I want to buy new so I picked up a '96 CBR600F3.

Here are a couple pictures of it in my back yard, I haven't even had a chance to clean it up yet as I've owned it for less than an hour now.

Thank you and no I haven't taken the MSF course yet but I'm signed up for it. I stopped by the DMV today to get the title put into my name and to get my permit. I had to take a knowledge test to get the permit and the test was a joke, as long as you use common sense you'd ace it. Although the two guys next to me both failed it, I'll never understand how they managed to do that.

I'll be driving it around my house but nothing to crazy until I take the MSF course. All my friends who have bikes say that course is invaluable so I can't wait to see what I learn.

Glad to hear you're signed up! YES, the course will pay huge dividends, especially as you transition into being a rider. It lays a great foundation for basic riding technique & safety. Build on that to be a responsible rider.

Be safe & enjoy!
