Default my CBR

I have had a kawasaki ninja EX250 for about a year now...and I'm finally moving up to a 93' CBR F. It's registered as a 99' and has some engine work done to it also. I hear people talking about how uncomforatable the CBRs are and i want to know from some other people too, so is it all that bad? because the seat looks almost the same as the one on my ninja and it's not that bad, occasionally sliding down the seat towards the tank isn't that much of a problem because all i have to do is adjust a little bit. I'm buying from my neighbor because h ebought a CBR 959 like a week ago and told me if i wanted to buy it he'd sell it to me for $1000. just wanting to know if that's a good deal or not. ty for the advice in advance

Ok i'm a little confused. Your buying a 1993 which is registered as a 1999. May i ask what the reasoning behind that? The seat from the 90's bikes are pretty comfortable. It when you start getting the the newer bikes that the seat get narrow and harder.

the registering thing is wierd. I've heard that sometimes it's for the plastics, but the plastic is the original stuff...so it must have something to do with the engine because I don't know how else it's done.

Wow, $1K is good (especially in Florida) for any CBR that runs, drives, and is street legal!

I had a 95 CBR600F3 and loved it! That was the most comfortable bike I've had yet. The seating position, controls, bars, etc. are the same.

My neighbor bought the bike from a dealership, so the title is clean. I'm not sure about the frame though...I'll ask him when I see him again. But from what I understand he bought the bike for a "project" i.e. he wanted to turn it into a beastly racing machine but didn't have the interest after a year or so and didn't ride much after that. He just bought a 959R so he says he has no use for the 600 because "it's not fast enough" for his needs. I'll update you all as I get more info.
