im 27.. and i havent' rode in nearly 10 years.. so before running out on a wild hair, and buying a 07, or something else brand new, i figured ide take a step back, and find a used bike.

after shopping around for a few weeks, i came across a gem. a 2004 F4i. under 4K miles, and a minor mods. i picked the bike up for $4500, and i think its going to be great for almost getting behind the bars for the 1st time again.







before i ride it.. lol, my 1st mod will be the frame sliders, and swing arm sliders. then... maybe i'll ride it. lol

thanks for all the support guys, i hope these forums help me make all the right decisions. I'll be installing frame sliders tomorrow.

 

There's a great post in the how to section on installing sliders. It describes the laser method which is what I plan on using once I talk myself into cutting holes in my fairing haha.
