Passed my MSF today, 100% on the Written, and only missed 3 points on the riding part! ![Big Grin](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
It was a load of fun! I learned a lot, and feel that I took to it much better than I thought I would have...
However, I'm still shopping for a bike! I'm being patient, but still not finding anything in my area in good shape, in my price range, that isn't already sold...
I don't like GSXRs very much at all, I really want a CBR, but I found this one... http://pensacola.craigslist.org/mcy/1772277001.html
What think you all?

Congratulations on passing the MSF, man! Good deal.
Not sure about that gixxer ad. I don't think it's a bad price for it if it runs good. (and you want a gixxer.... and it's not a scam...
)
Contact them about coming to look at it and see what they say. I don't think it would be a bad first bike at all.
Again, congrats on the license.

Thanks!!!
The MSF was a LOAD of fun... did it at a Harley dealership, the instructor was awesome. Was fun, but very good at teaching what we needed to know... I was skeptical about the Buell Blast, but after riding one, they aren't horrible!
As for the GSXR, I sent him an email, so if he replys ill go look. I don't like GSXRs very much, and I'm not a huge fan of Yellow, but if it comes with the helmet, and I can get him to drop that price a hundred or 2 more, I think it would be a nice starter bike...
I'll still hang around here though! I'm still a Honda Geek at heart!

Yeah, you can usually spot a scam ad when they use symbols in the title area and the body of the ad looks like one piece.
My advice would be to keep looking, don't buy the first bike you sit on and never settle for something. Buy what you really want.
Congrats on the MSF! Be sure to post some pictures up when you do pick one up!

I dont think this is settling... Its a good looking bike, but if its a scam, then no dice... I emailed him, and if he's willing to meet then I may ride out there... its not far...
Its not the first bike I've looked at, I've looked at 10+, and there aren't many in my area...
I'm getting frustrated, and I think I may just give in and go buy a new one...

Ninja Edit, Problem with that is, American Honda wont finance me for a new CBR, but Kawi/Yamaha/Suzuki will... so I could get a 2008/9 ZX6R, or R6... But if I'm spending that kind of cash, I 100% want a CBR...
I found this nasty beast just now... what do you think about it? Its a bit old and banged up... think its worth driving out there and looking at it? Its priced so cheap, It could be fixed up...?

Yet another Ninja Edit, I have read that the 2003ish Fairings can be made to fit on the older F3's if that is true, I think for $800 this bike is a good choice (If its mechanically sound.)

Heh, the GSXR seller sent me this. Now I definitely agree he's a scam...
Sent the 600F3 an email, waiting on his response, and I'll go look at it. How hard is it to find a left mirror, he says that one is missing...
The price is $2600.
This bike is a real 'head turner' and it will make you proud, it is in excellent condition, never been involved in accidents, only 13,600 miles, VIN:JS1GN78A9Y2101294 clean and clear title,no mechanical problems,no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, all functional and it will need nothing in the near future.
I have the bike sealed at DAS terminal in Miami, FL ready to be shipped out will take 4-5 days through DAS and it will be free,my previous buyer(his loan did not get approved)already paid for it and DAS didn't want to refund him the shipping fee.
I cannot meet face2face I have a new job in Tucson, AZ I would like to use Autotrader Vehicle Purchase to take care of this deal, smooth and safe. Let me know if you have any other questions, hope i didn't miss anything.
