Default Misti here saying hello!

Hello everyone,

Was referred to this site by kuroshio so I thought I'd come by to take a look I'm a former AMA & Parts Canada racer, current coach with the California Superbike School and writer for Motorcycle Mojo Magazine. I don't get to ride much these days as I have a baby girl and a 2.5 year old boy so the closest I get is talking about riding on various forums. I like discussing riding skills and techniques so I look forward to some good conversations.

Cheers!
Misti

Thanks for the nice welcomes everyone! Glad you like the articles Kuroshio If you ever have any ideas of subject matter that you want written about just let me know as I'm always looking for article ideas!

MadHattr, I currently have a Yamaha YZF 250 in the stable, dirt and supermotard so I'm hoping to get out this summer a bunch. Don't have a track bike anymore as my race bikes were sold When the kids get older I hope to add more to the stable!

Oooo... got plenty so your fingers might get a little worn from all the typing.

But prolly one of the biggest things I see here, on the street and in the mirror is this: how does a person advance without access to a track. And do so safely.

Can only go so fast in a parking lot. And I don't expect anyone to reach track level potential without a track. But I see (and know a few guys) that can't take a turn above 10-15 MPH because they've never practiced it.

Can you post links to some of your articles? To sort of spread the goodness. ;-)
What name do you write/publish under?

Thanks, Ern
