Default Micron dual exit slip on

I'm writting to see if any one has had any experience with this pipe. I'm curious to know if they are any good versus like say, the Yosh RS5 in terms of sound and build quality. Micron uses the same "hydro forming" process that Akropovich does in the manufacturing of their products. I love the way the dual exit looks and any feedback is helpful. It's going on my new REPSOL CBR1000RR

Look at the Arata slip on also. I tried a micron and the pipe was crooked. Returned it and went with the 2 bros pipe. Love it to death but Arata is new and it seems to fill up the space under the rear cowl.

I have the twin outlet on the 1000rr. Only complaint was having to bend the lip of the heat shield up to clear the exhaust. DON'T use any tools or pliers to bend it, you will only mark up the heat shield. Be patient and keep using your fingers. I have no problems with mine sitting crooked. The sound is nice and deep like micron always is, has a nice bark when you goose it.

Yeah, I left them all intact. Figured I'd leave them for the sake of anyone who rode on back.

Is it tweaked to the side a bit or what? If so how much form center. Do you think the problem could be fixed on a pipe bend? Also, how heavy was the Micron versus the stock unit? Nice bike by the way, it's nice to have a bike that few do.

Sits straight as you can see. Stock to Micron, weight is about the same.

Looks damn good. thanks for the info, very helpful, I'm truing to decide between the Micron, Yosh RS5, or the Sato new design. I basically want to cover up all the exposed area under the fender and the Micron and Sato will definatly do the job better then the Yosh.

No problem, glad to help. I went with the micron because I liked the look of the stock exhaust, just not the muted sound. I had a Micron on the 929 and always loved the sound it made. Though the twin outlet is a much diffrent sound than the CF oval I had on the 929, it still sounds great.

I can't believe that they would make this slip on as heavy as the stock one. Looks like it does not have all the components the stock system had.
