Default Mainely New

Hi there back into riding again after a few (20) years off. Picked up a 1990 1KF
with 16K miles.........a great bike, this one with unlinked brakes, just like the old days.

This is a great resource and I'm thrilled to be able to join and be in such knowledgeable
company of "cane-oisseurs".

Been working this bike out for the past few weeks getting my legs back and it's
been a complete joy. Waiting on a new Corbin Gunslinger + L seat which should
be an improvement as the 18 year old current one, although still in great shape, is
"less than adequately" padded.

Will put up some pics when I get her squared away with a few of these extras.

Safe riding to all

mark k

Yeah, 16k , was sweet. Owned by a Cop (original owner) always garaged, never ridden in wet.
It is simply pristine. Waiting on the corbin seat , "partners grey leather" with Honda Blue Welting.
Works with the Grey, Silver , Blue type color combo of the bike. May have to get some fresh
rubber for it soon, has nice metzlers with deep tread left but they're old and the rubber compound
seems "dried" and not as sticky/tacky as it should be even after warming them up good.

Will post some pictures when I get the new seat, hopefully sometime next week.

Well, had a fem minutes to take some shots as she is now before I put a new
corbin and an MRA Touring Screen on her.

I did clip the tail fender and added a five LED TAG light tucked up under her rear
tail light ..............came out awesome ........just finished it today.

Will shoot the whole thing over when I get the Seat and Screen etc.

What ya think ?

hmmm have to shrink the file sizes it seems.................back in 10

Stunning. You and CBRclassic may be in a fight over pristine champion award! And I must say your avatar is the best one I've seen.

Welcome.
