Default Living for the ride

Well thought I should introduce myself and probably the least knowing person on this forum, so a lot of questions will be asked throughout the years of riding my brand new (to me) 1998 cbr 600 f3. It's my first street bike and absolutely love it. I got a great deal on it ($1000) and had to jump on it as soon as I saw it. Drove it home, well for the first 20 miles and it cut off. Already having problems with it, but I wouldn't expect anything else with $700 off the nada value. But the 20 miles I did drive it, it drove like a champ! Absolutely fell in love with it as soon as I got on. I'll get into those problems later though! Little about me: played a semester of collegiate soccer and have evolved my life around the sport. Finally got tired of the stress and competition and figured I'd enjoy the rest of my college career with the least amount of stress as possible. My main vehicle is a 2001 Jeep TJ and is my other baby (I'll love her the same because she was the first). I just rebuilt the entire engine myself with the help from my dad and a haynes manual. Motorcycles shouldn't be as complicated being as small so I'm hoping the problems are easy fixes. Oh, I go to school at California University of Pennsylvania (yeah I know California? Pennsylvania? what?) It's a town about 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh and absolutely love the little area. That's about it for me and I'm hoping I'll get all the help I need from the forum and I will do my best to answer any questions I see as well!
Let's go ride!

Welcome to the forum.
Be safe out there on the street.

When it cut out, did you run it low on fuel or maybe not put it on reserve?

I like your username. Welcome. Make sure you check out the F3 forum. Those guys have forgotten more about f3s than most people will ever know. They can surely help you out.

Seem to recall it being mentioned. Check the Regional Section & perhaps post the question there.
