Default Just picked up a 1990 CBR1000F

Hey all, I just picked up a pristeen 1990 CBR1000F and I have already gotten a lot out of this forum by downloading a service manual and an owners manual (courtesy of Sprock and Naga_Thai).

It only has 4000 miles on it and is all origional! Some blemishes from being in storage for 10 years but sound and beautiful. I drove 350 miles round trip to pick it up, but it was worth the trip.

Now I need to come up with a nick name for it.

Hoping to make some great friends here and pick up a lot of advice as to what to look out for (bikes always seem to have weak spots don't they?).

I loaded a few pics, but will take more later.

Congrats man, I picked mine up last year and absolutely love it, it's a beast.
I got the exact same colors with the black seat, and by the way her name is Big Shirley , enjoy.

Welcome to the Forum !
Great looking bike, and such low mileage, bet it won't stay that low for long...............
C'mon down to the Hurricane section, but stay out of the Hurricane Saloon, unless you have a good sense of humour
And the first cyber-round is on you...............

Thanks guys, I plan to at least double the mileage bty years end.

I will visit the saloon soon. As I said, I have already taken advantage of the manuals section. What a great way to share information.

Thanks again for the welcome.
