Default Just got my 1987 CBR 600

hey guys just got a 1987 CBR 600 and am in the process of fixing it up. Just had a couple of questions. Was wondering what fairings will fit my CBR and was wondering if anyone had any warning when it comes installing/fixing the rear breaks. I have everything i need was just looking for a little advice. Thanks.
Tom

P.S. here is my bike, i think its in pretty good condition for an 87, considering its as old as I am!! haha

Hello & welcome!
Bike looks like it needs a fair amount of work but there are plenty of guys here to help you out.
As far as fairings go, might be quite hard to find 'em so keep looking.
Good luck

Welcome !
An 87 CBR600 - maybe an early Hurricane ? Is the date maybe wrong ?
e-bay's the best place for fairings. Some pop up on e-bay.uk as well.
www.Bikebandit.com and www.mrcycles.com have useful part numbers.
Do a search
Enjoy your stay
www.carlsalter.com may have a manual for you.

That sounds tight man. Im glad to hear everything's going well. im actually fixing up a bike thats the same year and it looks just how yours did when you started. I was seriously thinking about putting on a new front fairing like you did. How bad was the fabrication? do you have any pics yet. im best reached at birdj3@unr.navada.edu
