Just bought CBR yesterday 6/20/13
Hello I am new here and this is my first post. I just purchased a 2002 CBR 954RR yesterday. I love it. The power and feel is amazing. I love the Honda torque. Ive had several different bikes and this one is at the top of the list. It came with 18,300 miles.. An Erion racing edition bolt on exhaust, PC3, Steering damper, and a Corbin seat. The bike is in immaculate show room condition. I feel like I got it for a steal also. I paid $3900 and the bike looks like it just rolled off the show room floor brand new. Look forward to learning more about the 954. Interested in maybe the forced air induction for these bikes. Thought I seen a thread where you can get a kit to make them have forced air induction. Well here are a couple pics I just snapped.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Chasen,
And thanks for posting the pictures - the bike looks great!
Congratulations on your purchase. There is a dedicated section to 954s and plenty of experience, so jump right in.
Cheers, SB

welcome to CBRF! B-E-A-UTIFUL 954 there! forced induction - you mean, like a turbo? or are you talking about the ram air kit? the ram air kit that was on the net was a one off or HRC - i haven't seen them in forever.
but turbos... we can do turbos all day long bud.
see you on the forum. oh, and ya, that's a steal! great find

Thanks fellas.. and Yea Im sorry I ment Ram air.. not forced induction. lol Just thought it would help the bike run cooler. I noticed this bike doesn't run as cool as most of my other bikes did with the ram air. Also I am located in Southern Virginia. Right on the NC border.

well, as crazy as this sounds, i'm still not sure exactly where we're going to be living (wife, my daughter, and me). but it should be fairly close. also, i do plan on building a track bike sometime within the next year or so and doing track days at VIR which isn't too far either
