Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a 2007 Blue/Silver CBR 600RR and absolutely love it. She was already customized by the dealership when I brought her home. They painted the lower fairing to match, installed flush mounted turn signals and a Scorpion exhaust system. I have been riding for almost 10 years and have been through a number of bikes in that time. I currently have a 2006 VFR and a 1990 GB500 as well as the CBR. I started on cruisers, had a 2003 Gold Wing, a dirt bike and finally settled on the VFR. Last July my husband and I rode from Tampa, FL to Monterrey, CA and back for our vacation. We covered 7,000 miles in 18 days to attend the Moto GP races at Laguna Seca.

We are huge motorcycle enthursiasts and now have 5 bikes between us. He has a 2000 Superhawk and a 2007 ST1300 for his distance bike. We are volunteers for Honda and will be working the HRCA area at Bike Week for the entire event, as well as volunteers at the Honda Hoot.

I am a personal trainer who retired from the Air Force in 1998. So now I get to train women and get in my workouts while at work. So ladies, if you have fitness questions, let me know.

I look forward to "meeting" everyone and picking your brains for information on this wonderful bike.

Nice bike and welcome to the site, the GB500 is an oddball, I like it, it looks like a real motorcycle, one that you should be wearing a leather bomber jacket to ride.

 

I've had the GB500 for around 5 years and she never fails to get noticed. Some people have heard of them and never seen one and other's haven't seen one in years. They are now becoming quite the collector's item because of the way comeback that "retro" bikes are making. Here is a photo of my GB500

BTW: If i were to buy another CBR it would be that color. I love it!

 

Nice bike, I also have a st1300 for long rides and a cbr 1000rr for most rides. Daytona bound and down......

I will be working in the HRCA tent area during Bike Week, so stop by and say hello. Unfortunately I won't have the CBR there, but will be on the VFR. Look for a Pearl White with white powder coated wheels in the HRCA parking area. Have a safe trip and enjoy Bike Week.
