Hi im new to the forum. I have a race prepared 04 CBR 1000 rr, Im looking to upgrade to a 08/09 CBR 1000 later in the year. Im training to take on the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course hopefully in 2012 or 2013, and various other Irish National and International Road Races. I have been crossing hedges on motorbikes since I was 10 years old and racing around the roads of Ireland dodging cars and brave bunny rabbits shortly there after,

Bikes Ive owned

HONDA 50 AND HONDA 70 Many of them, O and 1 Honda 90. Laugh away !!! Irish Girls luv em..
Honda CG 125 and a motocross frame with a CG 125 engine Mac Guyver style !!!
Kaw AR 80
Suzuki RG 80 and RG 125
Honda cb 400 4 and cb 750
Honda cbr 400 rr
Husqvarna 500 lethal scrambler/motocross
Suzuki GSXR 750/1100 and a 7/11
HONDA CBR 600 Road and Race Bike
Yamaha R1 About 5 road and 1 race bike. Brand new R1 stole in NYC.
2 CBR 1000 RR 1 Stole in san diego 3 months after the R1 and 4 days after I bought it.

I currently have a road/race CBR 1000 RR Im parting to make way for a 08/09 Fully Race Prepared CBR 1000RR and its off a racing I go...

I have raced in Ireland and done a few trackdays in willow springs big track, I look forward to the Isle of Man TT everyday.

Peace out Guys and Girlz

Colin

Welcome, man! Yep, very cool line of bikes you've had.
I believe I'd be pretty excited about the isle, too.

Have fun, ride safe, and enjoy the forum!

Yeah raising the money, to make a good run at it is harder than actually racing it, qualifying to enter it will also take alot of pulling and dragging but it will all be worth it.. Im going to shoot a documentary/mini series about the preparation for the TT and Then racing the Island and various other Irish road races/US Race Tracks, and training schools.

Im hoping to have funding in place for my own team and the documentry in the next few months, so fingers crossed. i have been close many times and just fell short....
