Hey I'm from SoCal. Just picked up my 2006 CBR600RR from the dealer a couple weeks ago. I love the new bike. I'm a new rider too so this is pretty much all new to me but it sure is fun learning. Anyway this forum has been great for info so I hope pick your brains a little as questions come up. Don't worry....I'll search for answers first before posting. [8D]

hello welcome, not to be rude, but since you are a new rider what motivated you to buy a brand new '06 600RR?

 

Good question. That's just the way I shop. When I went looking for a bike, I looked at several including older models. When I saw the new 600RR I just knew that's the one I had to have. If I would have gotten anything else, I would have always thought to myself how nice the 600RR looked and how I should have gotten it. Sounds kinda simple I know......but like I said sometimes you just know "that's the one for me". Anyway.....I LOVE it! And it really is a beautiful bike, and handles so well. Thanks for all your welcome messages too!
