RE: suspension rework
If your bike has 59K on i`d say it needs doing regardless, but it all depends how much money you wanna throw at it. I mean is it going to be a bike you will keep for a while or change after a year or two for a different model?
Inside your forks there are springs and they are suspended in oil. Time on the road degrades the springs, and over years the oil loses its best qualities, there are plenty of firms who will take the forks (and rear suspension also) apart then rebuild them with new quality springs/parts and fresh oil. This is like getting new suspension as it would be like from the factory. While this is being done the opportunity is also there to change the springs for ones of different stiffness than stock so the bike is more tuned to you the rider.
But like i said its all down to cost.
