Default I own a 03 gsxr. I want to sell it and buy a 05 CBR600RR

I've been riding all my friends bikes and i'm getting bored with my 03 Al Stare edition so I have the bike for sale and I plan to buy a 05 CBR600RR. I'm on this forum to learn about the bike before I buy one. I'm interested in learning about things to look for when buying one.

What to look out for is usually the same among sport bikes. Make sure the motor starts up and runs well enough, check for rotor warping, make sure the forks are straight and dry (same for the rear shock being dry), etc. I know the earlier CBR600RRs had some issues with their charging systems so start the bike up a few times to see if it struggles at all when starting up.

Also, welcome to the forum.

How is a 05 CBR going to feel compared to a 05 GSXR? I cant decide what to get between the two honestly. I rode a 2012 CBR1000 and a 06 GSXR and they both felt amazing. The 2012 CBR1000 made me feel comfortable in the turns.

The Honda will be more "forgiving" of any mistake you may make.
Just as fast as the Gixxer, just friendlier.....................
