Hahaha...had to use the old "report this thread" method to get my membership verified, but I made it! Haha.

Anyway, I'm here because I'm about to buy a 1990 CBR1000F from the son of a long time friend. The "son" is about my age...he's 48. He bought the bike new in 1992 and watched the local Honda shop build it right out the crate. Well, apparently he didn't ride it much because it only has 7,011 original miles on it! I'm picking it up as soon as he receives the duplicate title from the Illinois Secretary of State. I'll post a more thorough thread in another area.
