Default Honda CBR 125

Hi

Just got my first bike ever, Honda CBR 125, 2007 (I'm just 16 though). Is it a good bike, or should I've rather got an Varadero(honda) or something else? I like my bike pretty much and everyone who have seen it likes it.But I thought this was the rightplace to ask experienced andskilled riders if I got a good MC. Have somebody tried this bike? If somebody have, what did you thought about it then?

Hi CBR125 and welcome. Are you in Canada by any chance, there where a couple at the dealership near me but they are long gone and apparently they are selling like crazy. Based on the reviews and the fact that they are selling so well it seems like you made a great choice for a first bike. Also you will have no problem selling it when you are ready to upgrade.
Congratulations and have fun.

I ain't living in Canada, but Norway. I bought my bike in a Harley-Davidson shop, in Arendal (town in norway), because they are importing Honda bikes and all types of bikes (gilera, buell, rieju and Harley-Davidson of course+ + +). They got 4 new bikes(cbr125) in different colours last month, and I though it would go months before they had sold all 4 of them, but it took them only 2 days. I was lucky to get one. One of my friends got one too, but he has to wait untill next year before he can ride his bike(blue and white) because he's just 15. I'm gonna sell my bike in 2 years, and I doupt I'm gonna upgrade before I gets older. After this bike, I'm gonna buy a car, get educated, get ajob, earn money, thenprobably get a new bike, CBR 600 or something.

Cool. This is the first year the 125 has crossed the shore to north america and canada is the testing ground. apperently honda US is watching very attentively regarding sales perfomance,,,kind of like the smart car which has been here for three years. Anyway, glad to have you here and let us know how you are enjoying your bike.

Welcome to the new 125 riders! I think those are a perfect choice for a first bike. There are a couple of other CBR125 riders on here, but I'm not sure if there will be a separate section opened. I will find out, and PM the both of you.
