Default hitting the darn horn

I'm fairly a new rider, one problem I seem to have is I keeping hit the horn after i activate/deactivate the turn signal. I have size small hands and short thumbs. Is there something i can do? Maybe disable the horn by removing the fuse since hate using them anyways. I don't use turn signal much only when it is prudent, but I want make a habit to use them when riding.

Does any have the same problem, or am I alone on this?

Maybe you should give yourself more time to get used to the controls before you deactivate them.
I now the stock horn is a joke , but you my want it some day .
And welcome to the forums

LOL it's just a 'new rider' problem. I used to ride with ten or so guys when I furst got my bike and I would always screw up and hit the horn when going for the turn signal. This would cause most of them to pull over thinking I was having problems. It was embarrasing and definitely sent signals up (to me) that I was a new rider. They never said anything to me and over time it hasn't happened since! Don't worry about it you'll get used to it!

Welcome to the site. Just watch your grip and you'll over come that. It's all a learning process.

Keep honking though - it's fun!

i do the same thing. i think its just due to net being used to the bike. that, and the horn is real sensitive. im hoping that over time ill get use to it and it wont happen so much.

You will learn not to hit it. It takes time. Don't try to disable it. That would be a mistake.
