Hi Ya'll
I'm new to the forum, but well seasoned on CBR's. I've been riding since 1985, Rebel 250, and currently ride a 94 F2 and a 93 CBR900....the original! Funny thing is.....I believe the F2 is the best bike ever! I drooled over the 900 for years and swore that I would own one. The F2 is still my go to bike for a fun ride.
I stumbled upon this forum searching for F2 carb cleaning help. I rejetted the thing in 97 when I got a V&H S2R pipe, so I know that the carbs do come off! I tugged and tugged for most of a Saturday before calling uncle. Thanks you guys for the sticky, I got motivated enough to man up!
Both bikes have been sitting for 2 years, my now ex was living in the house with the bikes in the garage. Untreated fuel in the tanks and carbs. Got the F2 running today! Thanks again.
