Default Hi from UK

Hi all,

I was searching the net and found this forum, looks well.

I have an old blade, owned it for 2.5 years - does the job for me.

Welcome to CBRF, fastbikefinder!
Glad you like the site, man. Bunch of UK guys around, too...

So you got any pics of your blade you can post up? We like seeing the overseas bikes. Yes we do.

Any other info you have about yourself or your bike would be cool, too.
Anyway, welcome aboard and ride safe!

Thanks for the welcome,

So far she's had:

Flapper mod
De - Pair mod
Power commander PC3 USB
US model headers (the US model doesn't have a catalytic converter like ours do )
FMF Power Core titanium can
ZG dark double bubble screen
R+G modified tail tidy
R+G crash protectors
R+G Radiator guard
Fork protectors
Ally swinging arm spools
Removed rear footrests
Dual LED rear light + indicator unit
Front LED indicators waiting to go on
GSG style piggyback rear reservoir waiting to go on
Stainless braided brake lines
Suspension setup up
Only run with Bendix MRR or Performance friction brake pads
Also run on Super Corsa Pro 2 tyres (they rock!)

Bought the bike with 2k on it , now has 16500

It's an evolution - don't know if I'll ever stop modding it but funds make the process slower than I'd like.

When I first bought it 2.5 years ago my plan was to put the TTS supercharger conversion on it (£3,500 )
Gives it 220bhp at the wheel, but then I moved from London to Cambridge and they don't pay the same as London so that dream is on hold for now.

I'm thinking of doing this:

But with a GP style race can like the R6 micron stubby, or maybe a growler, but I'm not so sure about the '08 tail now. At first I thought it'd be a nice mod as it's from the blade range, but as time goes on I think the RR6 standard tail looks better, so maybe I'll just go with the GP can.

What do you guys think?

I would also like to put one of these on my bike:

but over here they are still £500 or so 2nd hand so I'll wait until they come down in price as my wife and kids a real expensive.

I'd like to get over to the USA and do the Dragon one time - would have to rent a sports bike over there for that - It's a lifelong dream - maybe when my kids are grown up.

Man, that's a sweet RR you've got there!!!! Looks like you've done quite a bit to her already.
I don't know as I really have a preference on the exhausts either way you go. I do like the swingarm, though. I've always thought they looked cool..
But there again, I guess it all comes back to personal preference.
Either way, it's a cool bike. Thanks for sharing...

Hi & welcome aboard!
Beautiful 'Blade ya got....I think the only mod you should do would be the single-sided swingarm...just my .02...bike looks great otherwise
