Default Hi from Old Crow

Hello:
I ride a 1978 CB 550 k. Had it about six years. My first. It's black and chrome so I call it Old Crow. Nearly dislocated my shoulder getting my wallet out so fast to pay the $650.00 Can. Since then it just been consumables I've had to put into it: filters, tires, chain and sprokets - the usual. Ride it every day to work down 30K of winding country road (60 return. Oh, that's about 40 miles!). Bummer huh?
I am so happy and so relaxed and yet so focused when I ride.

Cheers

Hello and welcome to the forums!! :-) ..I think you just nailed it there, when I ride I feel the same, happy, relaxed yet so sharp and keen ..its not an effort thing to stay sharp it just comes naturally with time, like breathing ... you are ready to stop or react in a split second, your reactions are good simply because you are so focused yet relaxed as opposed to all tensed up and nervous ..*that* has to delay reacting ...

Nice old bike too ..among one of many my dad once owned :-)

Enjoy the forums!!

Jules
