Hey, Gaz and welcome to CBRF!!
I was up by the Horshoe Pass last month in all that snow and snapped this ... and yes,
I am one of those crazy people that gets up really early to capture sunrises ..lol

Yo Shakey,
The Ponderosa is where we usually head to as well, and then either through to Bala or if we're in a rush we just go right at Llangollan and head up the road for a while till you hit the right turn to take you back up the 494 to Ruthin. I'm sure we'll catch up when the weather gets nicer

We'll do a meet in the summer and have a CBR trip to Wales. I'm sure we can post it on here and find a good meet point and then ride off into the sun, if we get any sun
