Default Hi Just got my first 02 F4i

Hi just got my first sport bike (have a 78 gs 550e) a 02 cbr600 f4i
it needs a new pas seat and cant find it but a shroud that covers the exhuast manifold by the wheel (missing)
Has the efi preformer aftermarket muffler and protapper dirtbike bars
27000 little high on miles is that a issue?
runs perfect and quite (engine noises)
i have no idea on how to use my digital display or anything lol but i sure can ride the crap out of it woohoo!

any pointers or info would be great thx u

That mileage is nothing if its kept up with... Dirt bike bars make me think it was stunted.. Is the rear sprocket huge? Pass seat or a seat cowl is fairly easy to find on sites like eBay or check our classifieds...

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the forums,

Mileage is nothing to worry over if it's well cared for a Honda motor just keeps on going

Welcome to the CBR Forum ratrider,

Glad you found us and I'm sure another F4i owner will let you know how to use the digital display!

Keep a look out on ebay or bike wreckers in your area for the parts you need.

Oh, and post a photo of your bike when you can.

Cheers, SB

Congrats on getting your F4i!

27K mi isn't a lot *depending* on how its been maintained & cared for. You said it runs perfect...so hopefully you have a good bike.

One of the best tips I can give you is this - download a copy of the factory Honda shop manual (links in F4i section) & familiarize yourself w/ it. Then follow the maintenance shedule, as well as doing preventative maintenance, to keep you bike running well.

Settle in & enjoy the forum.

so far ive learned that if my starter button isnt up all the way my headlights dont work. and that my fuel guage only works when resurve. as for stunting the bike idk it does not have a retartedly low gearing. it has a smaller rear sprocket. but yes its got the bars and the crash cage ive gone over the frame it looks fine the tank has bondo in it so .... lol but its got a dyno power commander that i know nothing about. and a yoshimura muffler/downpipe. but yeah it runs perfect through the rpm range but yeah im gunna read the maual give it the proper go through and hopefully next summer ride the **** out of it lol thanks everyone

Welcome!
That sprocket looks big, but it's hard to see exactly from the pics.
What's up with those levers????....and bars?
Do you plan on stunting it? Make sure you look closely for broken parts and bent/leaking forks.
