Hi from the Isle of Wight. :)
Hi, I've owned this CBR 600 1999 FX for four years now, brought it as my first bike. Having so much fun on her not felt the need to upgrade yet. Brought it expecting to fall off in my first year, not don't that yet.
Done a lot of work on her, including all the servicing. A couple of years ago just before the MOT the header started to leek, was rotten. In taking it off most of the studs snapped. So had to drop the engine out and take the head for the engine shop to replace the studs. Whilst out I fixed the thermostat, was stuck open! Also sorted out the rear suspension, the bolts had corroded and the various joins were seized up make the ride a little bumpy. Once sorted transformed the handling. Since then I've changed the rear sets and replaced the knackered water pump, which as well as whistling was making the gear change at little reluctant. She still pulls like a train, over 10k it's like someone let a rocket off under the seat, she has just clocked up 30k so plenty more life in her yet.

Not done so for while now but I did before that when I had to pop to Henley on Themes every couple of weeks for meetings, was a great ride.
