Hi there folks,

just a quick hello to introduce myself. I ride an '04 1000RR which I bought last year after I moved to the states from the UK. I haven't had the best luck getting a licence over here (on my 4th for some reason and still need to go get a new one), so this summer is when I hope to get to ride the bike a lot.

Been riding for 4 years, going from a Honda CB500 (stolen) to a CB600F Hornet (sold to my Dad) and now my CBR. Although I could throw my 600 into turns etc. I still don't have the same confidence with the 1000, so this year I'm hoping to get lots of track time in, and also a lot of canyon rides in the Rockies.

I'm a memberof the 1000RR.net forum, but here I hope to find a lot of info and advice, and more about general motorbiking topics.
