Hi Everybody
Just found this site during my new buy search ,really good job ,very nice site.
Finally i ve decided to buy my first bike, my old love Honda CBR.
But there is one probably a lots of time asked question:
is it not to powerfull for someone who never ridden 600cc before.(only 50cc scooter ...lol)
I am 5'8 and weight 150 and cant decide it yet .
Maybe a new riders similar to me can tell me somethink if they decided to go for it.
And if not CBR so what?
THanks .

RE: Hi Everybody
Hi Maurasce and welcome! (I'm pretty new too)
Hey...I'm in exactly the position you are...I've only ever riden a 50cc and we are about the same height and weight...!!! How old are you? The way I would answer you is this: It's not a problem! IF you have good self-discipline and respect yourself and the machine. Listen, just because it does 160 MPH doesn't mean you have to DO 160 mph. It's like anything...you control the throttle, nobody is forcing you to rev it all the way up. I plan on getting thrills on my bike only when circumstances allow...
Then again, I have a lot of experience of the road in general...seeing I've been a professional driver in one of the hardest places to drive (in the world) for over 10 years....so I'm pretty confident in my ability to handle the situation. Maybe your circumstances are a bit different??
