Default Hi from Arkansas

Hi, I just bought a 2001 honda cbr 600F4i and I love it. I am a full time student in 25hours this semester and now that I bought this bike its all I can think about and I dream at night about driving it.lolol I have lots of ideas that will be done soon for the bike.I will be putting on Power-commander III, 3in stretch kit and lowering kit. I know its Fast so I am going to put on a Turbo Kit so then it will be a 600F4iT,.. I do not have a problems dropping thousands in this bike....when I have the money.

25 hrs?!? Are we talking semester hrs? How did you get approved to take that many hrs over full-time? :O

Congrats on getting your F4i. Sounds like you have an ambitious plan for it. Good luck w/ your project & enjoy!

Welcome to the forum.

yes 25 semester hours I had 13 last semester and I watched netflix and laid around depressed because I don't have a woman.... So I found something better.. F4i...I receive special permission because I did so well and the Dr. in charge of the college love the fact that I am majoring in cyber security My graduate school has accepted me and I have been in enrolled in for a Bachelors in Cyber Security, a Dual Masters Program and I have need to transfer to pursue my PH D in Information Assurance also because straight A's and 13 hours help. I am a heavy Linux user. Before I got my bike all I could think about was Pen testing and security...and of course school.I love my bike.I wake up every morning and go outside and tell my bike that i missed her. I can't wait to get my stretch and lowering kit. My Power commander will come next considering It does have a +48 sprocket on it due to the stunt riders that had it before me.I would like to put it back to the stock Which I think is a 45 or 46.My tires grip in the rain at 6 to 7 thousand rpm.I love my bike so much I do not mind driving it when it's 30degrees because i am so excited that I'm driving it. Thanks for repaling to me

Don't forget dreaming about gears too...race boots, armor leather jacket, gloves, pants....the whole nine yards...it's okay to dream what to do with the bike, just don't forget about your body...just keeping it real...CONGRATS on the new CBR!! Luv to see some photos when you able to post...

You are def a hard-charger! Be sure to take the time & smell the roses from time to time! ;-) Of course, riding our bikes *is* the roses for many of us. ;-)

Good to have you w/ us.

Well I have these parts on order right now they should be here in about a week.Swingarm extensions 4-6,Extended braided brake line,Black Lowering link,130 link chain 525,Left control switch so I can use my Integrated blinkers.I'm on a budget all this is right at $497.00. My Sprocket is a vortex+48 and I think my speed odometer is off a liter. My buddy told me about some kind of speed corrector that I could hookup to my speed odometer and that I would have to dial it in.I don't know yet what my true top end is but my friend top it out the other day it said 154mph but with that after market sprocket on i am not so sure. When I bought my bike the gas tank was beat in with a block of wood and the locking gas cap has been replaced with a stunt cap that well practically nothing and can just be twisted off(aluminum). I am going to try and poop that dent out of the tank but If that does not work I going to by another tank with a locking gas cap.The front cowl and shield was chopped so the stunt guys could sit on the gas tank and put their feet over the handle bars. I think that it is definitely a talent but I can not leave my bike looking like this.I understand that a whole set of plastics that I will be purchasing after I stretch and lower, I am about 5'4" and I would love to be able to touch flat foot.I am ashamed to say that I have laid it over 2x at 0mph ,first time was the first day due to the handle bars mashing my left hand and me being so new,and yesterday I was turning right I had my school bag with my laptop and several books and a full tank of gas I turned right real sharp and I could touch the ground with my right foot and set it down.lol I guess I need to purchase some frame sliders. The best part is I am learning what and how I can or can not do things, right now.I didn't even leave a scratch. : ) Does any body know about some kind of tool called a auto light? so I can have both my front head lights turned on. These are the only pictures that I have for right now.I took my blue led off for right now, due to the previous owner doing a poor wiring job.My friend will have his bike up and running next week so we can go riding together some where ,were I can smell the roses. Arkansas I very beautiful in some spots. Once I get my new cowl set I will put my mirrors on.I think that this bike can look so sweet.I have never taking this my pride in anything else that I have ever owned. Most people I have talked to cannot understand how riding is so therapeutic. She fixes so many issues. It's that feeling of being some this other world and all stress disappears and I have this big smile that plastered on my face. I you guys have any ideas on mods let me know. I agree I do need to dream of gear.I found some suits for around $700.this is not in my budget right now,but as soon as I get my student loans in or find a part time job I start piecing one together.
I will post more pictures real soon I have so busy.I have removed the yellow stickers.I think she can look so nice.Pictures by Linux_Usmc - Photobucket
