Default Hi All!

Long time lurker, just registered this account.

I've been riding since 2010. I use my bike for pretty much everything including commuting daily since I do not own a car (hard to afford car and car insurance as a graduate student, and the bike is so much more fun ).

I ride a 2001 F4i and love the bike. I do all the work and maintenance that I can on it on my own, but still don't know about a lot of things and am teaching myself all that I can. Hoping to use the forum to get help with any questions and perhaps give some info/help where I can.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum!
The F4i is a nice bike. Great that you do some of the work yourself.
Feel free to ask any questions you have, we are here to help. There are many very knowledgeable members here to aid you.

Thanks! Looking forward to interacting.

I just realized, I should correct my above post: I've been riding since summer 2010, not 2011, so just over 2 years now. Time flies!

Fixed it for you. :-)

Glad you decided to b/c an official member.

Only having a bike to do everything can be difficult at times. I've been in that spot. It does take some careful planning at times. Hang in there. When you get the free time, take your bike out of that daily grind mode & run it out to the twisties to stretch a little. ;-)

We're glad to have you w/ us.

Thanks for the post fix!!

I make the occasional trip to Shenandoah Valley in VA but the bike could certainly use more time on the twisties
