Welcome to the CBR Forum Mike,

Getting your bike license is not too difficult in most countries, though if others are like Australia the cost has increased significantly and the course is now two part.

I would thoroughly recommend the MSF course. Safety on a bike is paramount, your riding skills and being aware of what the 'cagers' around you are doing.

Best of luck and stick with it. Riding a motorcycle IS the best fun you can have wearing clothes

Cheers, SB

Welcome to the forum Mike.

MSF is always a good idea. Take your time learning out there. At your age, it can be hard regulating the right hand. Ride smart and well under what you think your limits are. One mistake (and not always by you) can result in serious injury or death.

don't know where you're from mike, but in most states, you'll be required to take the msf in order to get your endorsement. no big deal though. it's easy and it's pretty fun - especially if you don't have a lot of 2 wheeled experience! welcome to CBRF!

You should. Especially with having little/no car experience either, the rules of the road and other things that experienced drivers subconsciously incorporate into riding are absent.
