Welcome to the CBR Forum Chillie,

Age is not a problem on this forum, some would say the median age in some sections is 127.4 years old!

Post some pictures of your bike when you can.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to the forum.

64 is 34 in motorcycle years.
Did you just start riding, or have you been at it awhile?

I have been riding for 44 years ( Not all the time lol ) Lots of different rides, the last one before the magical CBR600 f3 was a Harley. I love this bike it's a good all rounder, this is my first plastic, I find it a pain, just to do a simple maintenance job, such as plugs, or battery I have to remove most of the plastic, same goes to remove the seat no key two bolts. I'll stop whinging now because I love the bike, thank you for your thread, nice to meet different folk, with the same interest.

Rap up warm loads of thermals, and heated grips. Watch the roads they may be stunning, but they are very deceiving, I live not to far from Snowdonia and it has been down to minus 7 at night, not much warmer thro the day, so watch the ice. All the best, and enjoy your ride,

It's not cheesy, it's nice to have contact with people in other lands. All the very best, Jeff. Stay safe.
