Hello & welcome to the site Cory
Picking up a new '09 600RR? Very nice!
Be careful though, it's quite the jump from a 250 Ninja.

thanks im a lil nervous movin up but i was a lil nervous when i got the 250. i rode that for 3 years and got on a few 600's and a 750 every now and then. there is a difference but im not a hard rider ill deff take it slow. ive wanted a cbr forever but thought i should start small. i love the look of the cbr and the style, i really like the exhaust not on the side. its a sexy bike. icant wait to finally own one!!!

yah the only thing im worried about but i know and hope wont happen is liftin up that front tire! everyone says it will just pop right up. but i always ease out the clutch in first like ur suppose to. but 2 ppl have told me to be careful in the past 24 hours. is it really that simple to loop the bike?

I think you will be fine ... you have to consciously go for the wheelie on a 600, it's not going to lift just pulling away, even briskly, it's not as if you dare not twist the throttle ... just take it easy, you will soon get the feel of the bike :-)

Um, I have been doing all this far too long ..lol ..I am not a mod just a welcome kitten ;-)

Jules

EDIT: ..and um, about the wheelie thing ... I mean, it's not as if you are going to pull away in first and suddenly whack the throttle wide open against the stop is it?? ... that would be kinda begging to be thrown off the back, throttles go both ways as you know and are very controllable ... so, don't be skeered ..lol
